Binding activity of NF-κB. Binding activity of NF-κB to its consensus sequence was assayed by EMSA of total nuclear protein extracts. Quantification of activated NF-κB was performed by densitometric analysis of relative EMSA band intensities. Results are the means ± SE of four individual replicates, value from an unpaired Student’s 𝑡-test (*𝑃<0.05, compared with normal control group and **𝑃<0.001 comparing with diabetic untreated group).
