Effects of Danshen extract on in-stent restenosis. Rabbits were subcutaneously administered Danshen extract (DE; 20 mg/kg) twice a day from two weeks before to four weeks after the stent insertion. (a) Representative cross sections of stented iliac arteries in DE-treated and vehicle-treated rabbits 4 weeks after stent insertion.
