Treatment with galangin suppresses TNF- -induced upregulation of MCP-1, eotaxin, CXCL10, and VCAM-1 mRNA expression in normal human ASMC. Cells were cultured with 10 ng/mL TNF- , or TNF- and galangin (1  M and 10  M), or TNF- and 10  M TPCA-1 before total RNA was extracted. Real-time PCR was used to measure expression of MCP-1 (a), eotaxin (b), CXCL10 (c), and VCAM-1 (d). Data are expressed as means SEM of three experiments. compared with the control group; compared with TNF- alone.
