Treatment with galangin suppresses TNF-𝛼-induced upregulation of MCP-1, eotaxin, CXCL10, and VCAM-1 mRNA expression in normal human ASMC. Cells were cultured with 10 ng/mL TNF-𝛼, or TNF-𝛼 and galangin (1 𝜇M and 10 𝜇M), or TNF-𝛼 and 10 𝜇M TPCA-1 before total RNA was extracted. Real-time PCR was used to measure expression of MCP-1 (a), eotaxin (b), CXCL10 (c), and VCAM-1 (d).
