Values are the mean frequency of foci/20 fields of view at 200x magnification. Inflammation severity is graded as follows grade 1 (>5 ≤10); grade 2 (>10 ≤20); grade 3 (>20 ≤30), grade 4 (>30) lymphocytes/foci. The distribution of foci is categorised by acinous zone: zone 1, periportal (portal triad); zone 2, periportal centrilobular; zone 3, centrilobular (central vein).
