Cordycepin Increases Nonrapid Eye Movement Sleep via Adenosine Receptors in Rats

Effects of cordycepin (2 and 4 mg/kg) on EEG power density during REM sleep. EEG power densities in delta wave, theta wave, and alpha wave spectral bandwidths were evaluated. Values are expressed as the of EEG power densities in three selected frequency bands for the REM sleep. No significant differences, compared with that of the control.
