Herbal Medicine Goshajinkigan Prevents Paclitaxel-Induced Mechanical Allodynia without Impairing Antitumor Activity of Paclitaxel

Effects of paclitaxel (PTX) and Goshajinkigan (GJG) on tumor weight in mice with breast cancer. Tumor masses were isolated from mice shown in Figure 1 on day 26 after the 4T1 cell inoculation. The photographs show typical examples of tumor mass isolated. PTX (10 and 20 mg/kg) and vehicle (VH1) were injected intraperitoneally. GJG (1 g/kg) and vehicle (VH2) were administered orally.
