Effects of ethanol extract of Butea monosperma (BM) on intestinal glucose absorption in type 2 diabetic rats. Rats were fasted for 36 h and the intestine was perfused with glucose (54 g/L) with or without ethanol extract of BM (5 mg/mL, 10 mg/mL, and 20 mg/mL; each subject received 15 mL of perfusion).
