Protection of Tong-Sai-Mai Decoction against Apoptosis Induced by H2O2 in PC12 Cells: Mechanisms via Bcl-2-Mitochondria-ROS-INOS Pathway

INOS-specific inhibitor blocked H2O2-induced apoptosis in PC12 cells. The cells were exposed to different treatments for 24 h, respectively. The percentage of PC12 cells apoptosis was assessed by the FCM assay. The cells were treated with 200 μmol/L H2O2, 0.1 mmol/L AG, INOS-specific inhibitor, 0.1 mmol/L AG, INOS-specific inhibitor with 200 μmol/L H2O2, and 0.05, 0.5, and 5 mg/mL TSM with 200 μmol/L H2O2, indicating that AG can partly block the H2O2-induced PC12 cells apoptosis. and as compared with the control group; and as compared with the H2O2 group.
