V. vitis-idaea increases GLUT4 protein content in soleus muscle of DIO mice. Samples of soleus muscles were obtained from CHOW, DIO control, and DIO mice fed with V. vitis-idaea (125, 250, and 500 mg/Kg) and analysed by immunoblotting with antibodies specific to GLUT4.
