The Antibacterial Assay of Tectorigenin with Detergents or ATPase Inhibitors against Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus

Figure 3

The effect of the ATPase-inhibitor N,N′-dicyclohexylcarbodiimide (DCCD) on the susceptibility of Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 33591) to tectorigenin (TTR) treatment. The viability of bacteria was determined spectrophotometrically (optical density at 600 nm, OD600) after incubation for 36 h with 6.25 μg/mL TTR and 6.25 μg/mL DCCD. The data is represented as an average of three independent experiments. as compared to TTR alone.
