Cytotoxic effects of GKT extract in 3T3-L1 cells. (a) Undifferentiated 3T3-L1 cells were treated with various concentrations of GKT (0, 7.8125, 15.625, 31.25, 62.5, 125, 250, or 500 μg/mL) for 24 h. (b) Adipocyte differentiation was induced by adding isobutylmethylxanthine, dexamethasone, and insulin (MDI) to 3T3-L1 preadipocytes for 8 days. The cells were exposed to various concentrations of GKT (0, 62.5, 125, 250, 500, or 1000 μg/mL) during the differentiation period. Cell viability was determined using a CCK-8 assay kit by measuring the absorbance at 450 nm. Data are presented as the mean ± S.E.M.
