Neuroprotective Properties of the Standardized Extract from <i>Camellia sinensis</i> (Green Tea) and Its Main Bioactive Components, Epicatechin and Epigallocatechin Gallate, in the 6-OHDA Model of Parkinson’s Disease

<div>The treatment with the standardized extract of<i> C. sinensis</i> (CS) reverses almost completely the depletion of the striatal tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) activity in 6-OHDA-lesioned animals, as evaluated by immunohistochemistry assays.
