[Retracted] Allium cepa L. and Quercetin Inhibit RANKL/Porphyromonas gingivalis LPS-Induced Osteoclastogenesis by Downregulating NF-κB Signaling Pathway

Figure 4

AcE and Qt decrease osteoclast resorptive activity in all concentrations tested. (a) RANKL-induced RAW 264.7 cells were differentiated into osteoclasts for 5 days and transferred to Corning Osteo Assay plates. The mature cells were tested in the presence of PgLPS, RANKL, and AcE or Qt for 24 h and untreated group (Ctrl) was not exposed to AcE or Qt. Von Kossa stain was performed on all samples tested, and the plates were air-dried and imaged using digital brightfield photomicrography. Images shown are ImageJ software processed for quantification. The images show unresorbed areas appear black, and areas of resorption are white. (b) Quantification of (a): , ANOVA-Tukey test. Results were expressed in mean ± SD of three independent experiments.
