Yokukansan Increases 5-HT1A Receptors in the Prefrontal Cortex and Enhances 5-HT1A Receptor Agonist-Induced Behavioral Responses in Socially Isolated Mice

Yokukansan (YKS) cotreatment did not affect expression of 5-H receptor mRNA in the PFC of isolation-stressed mice. Each column is expressed as a percentage of the group-housed control (group, 0% YKS) and mean ± SEM ( = 8–10). There were no significant differences among groups.
