Validation of a RP-HPLC-DAD Method for Chamomile (<i>Matricaria recutita</i>) Preparations and Assessment of the Marker, Apigenin-7-glucoside, Safety and Anti-Inflammatory Effect

<div>Viability of HepG2 cells after treatment with apigenin-7-glucoside (APG). The cultures were exposed to different concentrations of the flavonoid (0.10, 0.50, 1.0, 5.0, 10, 50, and 100 <i>μ</i>g/mL) during 24 hours. The percentage of cell viability was monitored by MTT assay. Bars represent means ± SD of results obtained with triplicate samples.
