Validation of a RP-HPLC-DAD Method for Chamomile (<i>Matricaria recutita</i>) Preparations and Assessment of the Marker, Apigenin-7-glucoside, Safety and Anti-Inflammatory Effect

<div>Evaluation of DNA stability in HepG2 cells after treatment with apigenin-7-glucoside (APG). The cultures were exposed to different concentrations of the flavonoid (0.10, 1.0, and 10 <i>μ</i>g/mL) during 4 hours. Subsequently, the DNA migration was assessed by the Comet Assay. Bars represent means ± SD of results obtained with triplicate samples.
