Effects of oral administration of the vitexin or sitosterol on the hot plate model. Control groups were composed of vehicle or morphine (5 mg/kg, p.o.). Results were presented as mean ± S.D. (–10) of increase in baseline or area under the curve. Statistical significance was calculated by ANOVA with Bonferroni’s test where when comparing morphine-, sitosterol-, or vitexin-treated mice with vehicle-treated group.
