Xanthohumol Induces Growth Inhibition and Apoptosis in Ca Ski Human Cervical Cancer Cells

(a, b) TUNEL assay was used to detect DNA fragmentation. A small increase in the percentage of cells with fragmented DNA was observed especially following treatment with 20 μM xanthohumol. (c, d) Cell cycle analysis of Ca Ski cells treated with xanthohumol. Percentage of cells arrested at S phase increased significantly, as revealed by ModFit software analysis. In the bar chart, statistical significance of the differences between the treatment and control results is marked with () and ().
