Effect of Prunus yedoensis (PY) bark extract on body weight and fasting blood glucose levels in mice fed a high fat diet. Mice were fed a regular chow diet (RCD) or high fat diet (HFD) for 17 weeks. PY extract (100 mg/kg) was orally administered to mice daily throughout the entire experimental period. (a) Changes in body weight were recorded over 17 weeks. (b) Fasting blood glucose levels were measured at week 16. per group. versus RCD group, versus HFD group.
