Silenced PPARα decreases NXT protective effect on H9c2 cells. (a) H9c2 cells were transfected with control shRNA or PPARα shRNA for 24 h. Cell lysates were subjected to Western blot. Data are triplicates from three independent experiments. (b) H9c2 cells were transfected with control shRNA or PPARα shRNA for 24 h. Cells were pretreated with or without 0.5 μg/mL NXT for 12 h, and then cells were treated with 200 μM H2O2 for 6 h. Cell lysates were subjected to Western blot.
