Calibration curve of hydroxyproline specifically plotted for the EA fraction. The standard hydroxyproline solutions had the following concentrations: 7, 6, 5, 4, 2, and 0 μg/mL. The hydroxyproline content was determined by the method described by Leach [25] and using a UV-detection at 560 nm on a spectrophotometer.
