Effects of Huai Qi Huang (HQH) on E-cadherin and α-SMA protein expression in NRK-52E cells stimulated with transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1). (a) TGF-β1 induces downregulated expression of E-cadherin but upregulated expression of α-SMA in NRK-52E cells; HQH displays inhibitory effect on phenotypic changes and protein expression of E-cadherin and α-SMA in NRK-52E cells at 24 h (immunofluorescence, 200x).
