Role of NO and prostaglandins on the vasorelaxant effect of ESAH in MVBs from normotensive and hypertensive rats (2K1C plus OVT). Effects of ESAH (0.001, 0.003, and 0.01 mg) on endothelium-intact MVBs continuously perfused with L-NAME ((a) and (d)), indomethacin ((b) and (e)), or coadministration of L-NAME and indomethacin ((c) and (f)). The results show the mean ± SEM of 5 preparations per group. indicates compared with the effects of ESAH on the respective vehicle group.
