<i>Lannea acida</i> A. Rich. (Anacardiaceae) Ethanol Extract Exhibits Estrogenic Effects and Prevents Bone Loss in an Ovariectomized Rat Model of Osteoporosis

<div>Effects of<i> L. acida</i> ethanol extract on MCF-7 cells proliferation viability (a) and growth (b). Its effect was investigated by measuring E-screen assay. The relative MCF-7 cells yields (PE) were measured in the presence of DMSO (0.01%), 17<i>β</i>-estradiol benzoate (E2B, 10 nM), quercertin (10 nM), and<i> L. acida</i> extract (from 0.1 to 200 <i>μ</i>g/mL).
