Effects of 11 weeks of treatment with ethanol extract of Lannea acida (LA) or E2V on liver (a), lung (b), and kidney (c) of sham operated or ovariectomized rats. Sham (sham operated) and OVX (ovariectomized) animals received the vehicle (distilled water). E2V = OVX animals treated with 1 mg/kg of 17β-estradiol valerate; Lannea acida = OVX animals treated with ethanol extract of Lannea acida at doses of 50 and 200 mg/kg BW.
