Sham (sham operated) and OVX (ovariectomized) animals received the vehicle (distilled water); E2V = OVX animals treated with 1 mg/kg of 17β-estradiol valerate; Lannea acida = OVX animals treated with ethanol extract of Lannea acida at doses of 50 and 200 mg/kg BW.
