Effects of TWOD on retinal microvascular morphology in diabetic rats. TWOD group and CaD group received a single dose of 60 mg/kg STZ to induce diabetes and control rats received vehicle. TWOD group was treated with 10 g/kg TWOD. CaD group was treated with 250 mg/kg CaD. Control group and model group were treated with the same volume of vehicle. The retinas were prepared with trypsin digestion and stained with periodic acid-Schiff stain.
