The effect of SNN extracts on serum lipid profiles and enzymes. Male C57Bl/6 mice (7 weeks of age) were fed HF-DSS diet for 12 weeks followed by either 4-week SNN () or normal saline supplementation via gavage (), while chow diet mice were set as controls (Con, ). The mice were sacrificed, blood was collected, and serum was separated. Serum TC (a), TG (b), HDL-c (c), and LDL-c (d) were analyzed; enzymes ALT (e), AST (f), LDH (g), and ALP (h) in serum were detected.
