DCE increased the expression of GLUT4 in L6 cells. (a) The GLUT4 protein level of L6 cells was significantly increased after the addition of 30 μg/mL and 60 μg/mL DCE for 30 minutes. Summary results are from three independent experiments. P < 0.05. (b) 100 nM insulin and different concentrations of DCE induced a significant increase in GLUT4 mRNA expression of L6 cells compared with the control in 30 minutes. The results of three independent experiments were statistically analyzed. P < 0.05 and P < 0.01.
