Suppression in the expression of proinflammatory mediators and cytokines in tissues by the Rg3-RGE extract. Total RNA from lungs (a) and testis tissue (b) were extracted and mRNA expression of iNOS, COX-2, IL-1β, IL-6, and TNF-α was determined by RT-PCR. GAPDH was used as an internal control. Values in the bar graphs are means ± SEM of three independent experiments. p < 0.001 are considered significant compared to the LPS-only group.
