Tou Nong San Attenuates Inflammation in TNBS-IBD Model by Inhibiting NF-κB Signaling Pathway

Schematic diagram depicts the possible mechanism for the anti-inflammatory effect of TNS. There are two transcription factors that regulate the transcription of inflammatory cytokines: AP-1 and NF-κB. TNS inhibits the phosphorylation of IKK and thus inhibits the degradation of IκB. Then the activation and translocation of p65 are inhibited by IκB. Eventually the transcription of target genes is reduced.
