Manilkara zapota (L.) P. Royen Leaf Water Extract Induces Apoptosis in Human Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HepG2) Cells via ERK1/2/Akt1/JNK1 Signaling Pathways

The percentage of viable cells was significantly inhibited at 24 h after treatment at higher concentrations (25-200 μg/mL) compared to the untreated cells (control) in both MTT and LDH assays (P < 0.05). Treatment with 100-200 μg/mL of Manilkara zapota leaf water extract for 48 and 72 h significantly reduced the cells viability in both MTT and LDH assays (P < 0.05).
