(a) Effect of LSS aqueous extract on serum marker enzymes ALT, AST, GGT, and ALP in rabbits treated with CCL4 induced hepatotoxicity as indicated in the figure. All data were expressed as mean ± SEM. Values were statistically tested using the Student t-test and significant differences at p < 0.05 and p < 0.01 indicated by () & () compared to normal control, by (#) & (##) compared to CCL4 after 5 weeks, and by (+) & (++) compared to CCL4 after 10 weeks, respectively
