Effects of AO-1 in EAE mice. (a) EAE score, (b) cumulative score, (c) body weight. EAE was induced in C57BL/6 mice by peptide and pertussis toxin. Mice were untreated (vehicle) or treated with 300 or 1000 mg/kg AO-1 daily on Day 7 after immunization for 14 days. EAE score and body weight were recorded daily and weekly. Data are expressed as mean ± SEM (n = 10). P < 0.05, P < 0.01, and P < 0.001 compared with the vehicle group.
