Anticancer Effect of Mountain Ginseng on Human Breast Cancer: Comparison with Farm-Cultivated Ginseng

<div>Activatory effects of MGE and FGE on ROS generation and mitochondrial dysfunction in MCF-7 cells. MCF-7 cells were seeded on a black 96-well plate and then further incubated. After 24 h, the cells were preincubated with MGE or FGM for 4 h and then stained with 10 <i>μ</i>M DHE, DCFDA, or JC-1 in Hank’s balanced salt solution for 30 min in the darkness. ROS generation and mitochondrial dysfunction were determined as described in the Materials and Methods section.
