Anticancer Effect of Mountain Ginseng on Human Breast Cancer: Comparison with Farm-Cultivated Ginseng

<div>Effect of MGE on expression of apoptosis-related proteins. MCF-7 cells were seeded on a 6-well plate (5 × 10<sup>4</sup> cells/well) and then further incubated. Next day, the cells were incubated with MGE for 24 h. The expression of Bcl-2, Bax, cytochrome c cleaved caspase-3, or <i>β</i>-actin and caspase-3/7 activity was determined as described in the Materials and Methods section. Similar results for immunoblot analysis were obtained in three independent experiments.
