The screening protocol flowcharts. 500 extracts at the concentration of 20 µg/mL were applied to MDCK cells and treated with recombined H1N1 reporter virus for primary screen. Hit compound lists were generated from the primary screen and cytotoxicity screen by applying 80% inhibition and 70% cell viability cutoffs, respectively.
