The Antiemetic Effect of Xiao-Ban-Xia-Tang Formula against Cisplatin-Induced Emesis is Mediated through Inhibition of NLRP3 Inflammasome Activation in a Rat Pica Model

<div>Effects of XBXT and ondansetron on kaolin ingestion (a), body weight (b), and food intake (c) in cisplatin-treated rats (<i>n</i> = 6). Cisplatin or vehicle (saline 0.9%w/v, 10 mL/kg, i.p.) was administered at <i>t</i> = 0. XBXT or ondansetron or distilled water was administered 1 h before cisplatin injection and then at regular 24 h intervals. Data represent the mean ± SEM.
