Activation of caspase-3 (a), caspase-9 (b), and caspase-8 (c) by AVME in MBA-MD-231 cells. Cells were incubated with 10 and 20 µM AVME for 8 h. Caspase activities were measured by monitoring the cleavage of fluorogenic substrates specific for each caspase. The activity is given as percentage.
