Chrysophanol Prevents Lipopolysaccharide-Induced Hepatic Stellate Cell Activation by Upregulating Apoptosis, Oxidative Stress, and the Unfolded Protein Response

<div>Chrysophanol (Cho) triggered cell death in HSC-T6 cells. Cell viability was determined using the WST-1 assay for three indicated groups. Changes in the expression of p53 and cleaved-caspase 3 (active form of caspase-3). GAPDH was used as an internal control. Quantitative results showing the level of specific proteins assessed by ImageJ.
