Anti-Inflammatory Effects of Lagerstroemia ovalifolia Teijsm. & Binn. in TNFα/IFNγ-Stimulated Keratinocytes

LOC reduces chemokine production in TNFα/IFNγ-stimulated HaCaT cells. HaCaT cells were pretreated with LOC (2.5, 5, 10, and 20 µg/ml) for 1 h and then stimulated with TNFα/IFNγ (10 ng/ml). After 24 h, culture media were harvested. LOC and TNFα/IFNγ treatment was performed under the same conditions, and cell incubation was carried out for 24 h. The protein levels of TARC (a), MDC (b), MCP1 (c), IL-6 (d), IL-8 (e), and IL-1β (f) were measured by ELISA. The data are presented as the mean ± SEM of three samples. Statistically significant differences ( and ) between the treatment groups are indicated by different letters.
