ZnS induces oxidative stress in HCC cells. The levels of reactive oxygen species (ROS), superoxide dismutase (SOD), and malondialdehyde (MDA) in Huh7 and SMMC7721 cells measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Cells were treated with 0.5 µM ZnS for Huh7 and 1.0 µM for SMMC7721 cells and/or 10 mM 3-methyladenine (3-MA) for 48 h.  < 0.01 and  < 0.001 vs. the control group.  < 0.001 vs. the ZnS + 3-MA group.
