Antiobesity and Antidiabetic Effects of Portulaca oleracea Powder Intake in High-Fat Diet-Induced Obese C57BL/6 Mice

Effect of P. oleracea powder on random blood glucose levels at 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 weeks in mice fed normal diet (CON), high fat diet (HFD), high fat diet with 5% P. oleracea powder (HFD+PO5%), and high fat diet with 10% P. oleracea powder (HFD+PO10%). Values are the mean ± SE (n = 8/group). The same letters represent no significant differences according to the Duncan’s multiple range test. p < 0.05 was considered significant. CON: normal diet; HFD: high fat diet; HFD + PO5%: high fat diet with 5% P. oleracea powder; HFD + PO10%: high fat diet with 10% P. oleracea powder.
