Inhibitory effect of Ficus palmata extracts: chloroform (Fp.CHCl3), aqueous (Fp.Aq), and atropine on castor oil-induced fluid accumulation in mice. Results are expressed as mean ± SEM, n = 5. Antisecretory effect is expressed as Pi/Pm × 1000 (g), where Pi is the weight of the small intestine and Pm is the weight of the mouse. vs. saline group and vs. castor oil group, analyzed by one-way analysis of variance with post hoc Tukey’s test.
