Antihypernociceptive and Neuroprotective Effects of the Aqueous and Methanol Stem-Bark Extracts of Nauclea pobeguinii (Rubiaceae) on STZ-Induced Diabetic Neuropathic Pain

Figure 1

Antihyperalgesic effects of the aqueous and methanol extracts of N. pobeguinii on mechanical allodynia induced by Von Frey filaments. Data are expressed as the mean ± SEM of six animals per experimental group, compared by two-way analysis of variance followed by Bonferroni’s test; α <0.05, β <0.01, and λ <0.001 mean significantly different from the normal control group (nondiabetic); and a <0.05, b <0.01, and c <0.001 mean significantly different from the diabetic control group.
