Flow cytometric analysis of A-549 (a) and MDA-MB-231 (b) cells treated with extracts of I. purpurea leaves. Cells were stained with Annexin V-FITC/PI and quantitated by flow cytometry after 24 h of incubation. The cells treated with DMSO 0.1% (negative control) or with IC₅₀ value of etoposide (positive control), chloroform extract of I. purpurea leaves (MDA-MB-231), and methanol extract of I. purpurea leaves (A-549).
