PCB2 inhibits apoptosis in PA-stressed HepG2 cells. (a) HepG2 cells were exposed to PA (125 μM) and treated by PCB2 (2.5, 5, and 10 μM) for 12 h. Apoptosis rate was determined with Annexin V-FITC/PI staining on a flow cytometer. (b) HepG2 cells were exposed to PA with or without PCB2 for 24 h. Fixed cells were incubated with TUNEL (red) and DAPI (blue) solution, respectively, and relative fluorescence intensity was measured. Scale bar = 50 μm.
