<i>Suhuang</i> Antitussive Capsule Ameliorates Corticosteroid Insensitivity in Cough Variant Asthma Guinea Pigs by Inhibiting p38 MAPK Signal Pathway

<div>The graphic illustration of the antitussive mechanism of <i>Suhuang</i>. <i>Suhuang</i> increased expression of GR in a manner dependent on inhibition of p38 MAPK phosphorylation and activity by increasing MKP-1 level. Therefore, combination treatment of <i>Suhuang</i> and BUD showed better improvement in AHR, cough symptom, histopathological changes, and inflammatory cytokines production.</div>
