Lucidumol A, Purified Directly from Ganoderma lucidum, Exhibits Anticancer Effect and Cellular Inflammatory Response in Colorectal Cancer

Figure 1

Lucidumol A exhibits a tumor-suppressive role in CRC. (a) The 1H-NMR spectrum of this compound displayed characteristic signals for seven singlet methyl protons at δH 0.71, 0.96, 1.12, 1.14, 1.19, 1.24, and 1.36, one doublet methyl proton at δH 0.96, methylene and methine protons from δH 2.72 to δH 1.06, and one oxygenated methine proton at δH 3.31 (d) (J) = 10.1 Hz), which was identified as Lucidumol A by comparison with literature data [18]. (b) Suppressive cell growth of Lucidumol a. The HCT116 cells were exposed to Lucidumol A as indicated concentration and a standard MTS assay measured cell growth. (c) Monitoring cell morphology by Lucidumol A. Bars mean ± S.D. and the value were obtained by Student’s t-test (n = 3, ; ).
