Lucidumol A, Purified Directly from Ganoderma lucidum, Exhibits Anticancer Effect and Cellular Inflammatory Response in Colorectal Cancer

Lucidumol A exhibits a tumor-suppressive role in CRC. (a) The ¹H-NMR spectrum of this compound displayed characteristic signals for seven singlet methyl protons at δ_H 0.71, 0.96, 1.12, 1.14, 1.19, 1.24, and 1.36, one doublet methyl proton at δ_H 0.96, methylene and methine protons from δ_H 2.72 to δ_H 1.06, and one oxygenated methine proton at δ_H 3.31 (d) (J) = 10.1 Hz), which was identified as Lucidumol A by comparison with literature data [18]. (b) Suppressive cell growth of Lucidumol a. The HCT116 cells were exposed to Lucidumol A as indicated concentration and a standard MTS assay measured cell growth. (c) Monitoring cell morphology by Lucidumol A. Bars mean ± S.D. and the value were obtained by Student’s t-test (n = 3, ; ).
