Alpha-Lipoic Acid, Auraptene, and Particularly Their Combination Prevent the Metastasis of U87 Human Glioblastoma Cells

<div>MMP-2 and MMP-9 gelatinase activities in the presence of ALA, AUR, and ALA/AUR. U87 cells were treated with 0.2 mM AUR, 0.4 mM AUR, 12.5 mM ALA, or the AUR (0.2 mM)/ALA (12.5 mM) combination for 24 h. The proteolytic activity of MMPs was analyzed using the gelatin zymography method.
